More on free prescriptions…

…from this guy. Haven’t worked out what I think about free prescriptions for all, yet, although obviously I’m sold on them for students. Thoughts, anyone?

  1. For people on the very lowest incomes, prescriptions are free anyway.Even if you aren’t on benefits you can apply for exemption.Just recently cancer patients are exempt, as are people with varying long- standing conditions. If you have regular prescriptions you can apply for a prepayment prescription certificate, which is a lot cheaper.
I’m all for fairness, but the NHS isn’t a bottomless pit!
